SCATE TO LAUNCH IGNITECAST.COM AT OCTOBER 11 EVENT

(Orion, MI – Sept. 20, 2007) SCATE® Technologies, Inc. (SCATE®) announced today that it will release IgniteCAST.com™ at an October 11, 2007 launch event to be held at its Orion, Michigan HQ. IgniteCAST.com™ is a media sharing web service where users can create, upload, view and share structured video clips, interactive presentations, PowerPoint®, software demonstrations, surveys, quizzes and more. IgniteCAST.com™ was created by SCATE® in response to tremendous customer demand for a web-based solution for sharing content created with SCATE’s popular Ignite® software.

The FREE October 11 launch event is open to the public, and will begin at 11:30 AM with a complementary luncheon. Registration is required for the event at www.sirix.org.

IgniteCAST.com™ employs SCATE’s user friendly Ignite® software as the tool to capture a wide variety of professional media right from the user’s computer screen, including sales presentations, videos, software demonstrations, etc. The media is then transformed in to engaging content, and seamlessly uploaded to IgniteCAST.com™ where it becomes categorized and searchable for viewing by others. IgniteCAST.com™ also allows users to control access to their content with public and private playlists, and to track scores or data related to quizzes or surveys.

SCATE’s flagship screen capture products (Ignite® Expert Edition and Ignite® Pro Studio) will also be updated to include seamless publishing capabilities directly to the IgniteCAST.com™ community site. Both products will continue to include publish capabilities for sites outside of IgniteCAST.com™ such as web servers, CD-ROM, network drives, email, print and for learning management systems (LMS). The free updates for both of the new versions of Ignite will be unveiled at the launch event.
