New Website Launched With Blog and Message Forum (Orion, MI – January 9, 2007) SCATE® Technologies, Inc. announced today that the next SIRIX (SCATE® Ignite™ Regional Information eXchange) user group meeting will be held on February 23, 2007 at 8:30 AM (EST). SCATE® created SIRIX as a forum for current as well as future users of SCATE® Ignite™ 2006 to share best practices, tips and tricks. In conjunction with the announcement, SCATE® also launched a new website (www.sirix.org). The site houses information on upcoming meetings and contains links to SCATE’s new Ignite™ 2006 message forum (www.sirix.org/bb) and blog (www.sirix.org/blog). The message forum is to be utilized for SIRIX-related discussions and announcements as well as general discussion and support for the Ignite™ product. SCATE’s new blog (“Knowledge Transfer… A ‘Found’ Art”) will allow SCATE® personnel and customers to express their own opinions on the subject and to comment on others. “The inaugural SIRIX meeting last November was a huge success! Our facilities were packed to capacity, so we’ve decided to move the next meeting to Automation Alley’s headquarters in Troy to better accommodate the quarterly event” said Jeff Holth, SCATE® VP and Director of Product Management. Registration begins at 8:30 AM. The main event will begin at 8:45 AM with an Ignite™ 2006 demonstration. At 9:30 AM, the exhibit floor will open (table-top, tradeshow style) where customers will showcase how Ignite™ is used in their organizations, and how they have maximized return on investment (ROI). At 11:30 AM, there will be closing remarks and door prizes. Membership in SIRIX is not required to attend this free event, and refreshments will be provided.
